IMPORTANT INFORMATION
An accredited bus operator is a company manager that has passed a Transport Management course and is familiar with all laws relating to the proper management of a bus service. The Passenger Transport Act 1990 requires that operators of public passenger bus services must be accredited by Roads and Maritime Services.
All drivers in NSW that carry public passengers for private charter services in a vehicle greater than 12 seats must have a current Driver’s Authority card on clear display within the bus at all times. All drivers are to perform vehicle pre-departure checks and are subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
